Dry and steam saunas
Use of the dry sauna and steam room is complimentary for Areias do Seixo guests and subject to prior reservation and SPA availability.
For non-guests visitors, use of the dry sauna and steam room is available at €15.00 per person / 2 hours, subject to prior reservation and SPA availability.
In order to promote conscious resource management and a more sustainable experience, the dry sauna and steam room are prepared only upon prior reservation. If you wish to make use of these facilities, we kindly ask that you contact Reception in advance.
Saunas should be used in moderation and we recommend the use of swimwear. The length of use may vary according to each individual, although 15 to 20 minutes is generally recommended.
The steam room (humid heat) is ideal for opening the skin's pores, stimulating the respiratory system and promoting a deep sense of relaxation.
The use of saunas is not recommended for people with heart conditions, high blood pressure or serious circulatory problems.
A shower is recommended before entering the saunas.
After use, a cold rinse is suggested to help the body gradually return to its normal temperature.
